I own a 1993 cde turbo 5sp.
I first got the car a few months ago, and when any of the doors were opened the interior lights wouldn't turn on but the lights on the inside of the doors would. Also, the little alarm on indicator light on the front drivers side speaker wouldn't turn on. This was no problem. Only a little inconvient at night but I could live with it.
All of a sudden, and from no itervention by me, the interior lights started to work as they should. Also, the alarm on light would start flashing when I locked the car door. This was great. It fixed itself somehow. I soon found that the hazard lights would start flashing for no reason.
Anyway, to make a long story short, the car has gone back to how I first got it. The interior lights don't go on with the door opening and the alarm light isn't flashing. Is the wiring for the alarm somehow connected with the interior light circuit.
Thanks for any help / advice
