I am new to the 9000 Aero world (I also have a 93 900T Com.Ed.) and wouldn't you know it a ?TCS? problem that we cannot figure out. Here is the scoop (it has happened twice in one month to me)...BTW this is a 5 Speed...

1) Start car
2) Pull out BEFORE all computer checks are complete (which I have stopped doing)
3) At the first complete stop (red light/stop sign) and start, the TCS CTRL light (not the TCS indicator on the tach) comes on and the car goes into limp home mode
4) Turn the car off and back on (Microsoft Solution for everything!!!) and the TCS CTRL light is out but the Check Engine light is on.
5) Baby the car (do NOT get the turbo above the white or we go back to number 3) and you can drive it at normal operating speeds.
6) After driving the for some time on the Interstate the need for babying the car goes away, but the check engine light is still on.
7) Mechanic resets the computer (fault codes like cam shaft out and throttle body sensor out of sync), which is like following ghost footprints.

Note: The TCS system has been re-calibrated twice (once before I owned it about 1.5 years ago and once just last week). This last time we also unplugged the TCS unit and let it "drain" and then re-calibrated it. So far so good, but I also have waited for ALL of the lights to go out before proceeding.

P.S. I am going to put in the TCS on/off switch because I am not one to need/use the TCS (I would also like to go to Tuesday Night drags at Indianapolis Raceway Park - $10 & waiver) but I want to wait until I have nailed down this TCS CTRL situation.
