The rubber hose on my clutch pressure line blew off on my 87 9000T. I replaced the line and bled the system with a pressure bleeder. I bled the system five times and the first time, lots of the bubbles came through the plastic tube I had on the bleed nipple. Each bleeding produced less and smaller bubbles, and the final none at all. I think it all of the air is out, I used about 26 oz of brake fuild to complete the process. My question is the clutch feel. The pedal resistance feels the same as it did before the repair, but it appears to engage sooner. Prior to pressure line repair, the pedal seem to have quite a bit of travel before it engaged. It shifts through the gears fine and has no grinding or noise in going to reverse. What is the normal amount of pedal movement before engagement? I have owned this car about 3 months and therefore I do not have much history on what it is suppose to feel like. Any help would appreciated.
