As you noticed, the dipstick is the filler cap - good.
Running a little over the Full mark is OK. "A Little" would be on the order of 1/8 - 1/4 inch over. In fact, it's probably a little better. If you go way overfull (like 3/4") that would be a problem - not because it's a turbo. Too much oil, and the crankshaft will splash the high oil level, foaming it. But a little over is just fine.
Don't get wacky because the car has a turbo. It isn't radically different. Basically, just change the oil and filter regularly, preferably every 3 to 5K miles. Let the car warm up a bit before you stomp the throttle, to let the oil get warmed up. Otherwise, enjoy it.
The oil level sender is mounted in the oil pan. Look under the car behind the right front wheel. You'll see the oil pan hanging down, and pointing out backwards is a plastic cylidner with a connector on it. That's the oil level sender. Occasionally they get a little gummed up and stick. No big deal. Replacement is easy. The next time you change your oil, while the oil is drained, unbolt the sender - it just has two bolts holding it in place. You can buy a new one from the dealer for about $35. Frankly, I would just clean it with a little carb cleaner and put it back in. Before you do, replace the O ring. Those sometimes leak with age, so you might as well replace it while it's out. You can get the O-ring from the dealer for about $4, or take the old O ring down to an autoparts store, and they'll measure it up and sell you a replacement for about 50 cents.
Good luck!
