Jack the right front of the car. Remove the right front wheel. Remove the front half of the inner fender liner. Attach a 1/2" short 19mm socket head (use a 6 point) to a 1/2" breaker bar of at least 24" in length. Looking down, position the breaker bar handle between the ac compressor and the coolant resevoir. Place the socket head over the tensioner bracket. Push the breaker bar toward the rear of the car. Push very hard, but in a firm and slow manner. With your other hand, slip the belt off the fixed idler pulley. Release the tension. Your husband will need your help to slip the belt back on when he compresses the tensioner. Normally, you would use a tool to hold the tensioner compressed while you change the belt, but it doesn't sound like you have time for the fancy stuff.
