OK guys I take the point(s), but I still think that in this day and age it should be more reliable, more efficient and most of all cheaper to maintain over the service life of your average car. As it is I suspect that we are at the mercy of the specialist magicians of A/C systems who charge a fistful of money to keep the thing doing what it was designed to do. (Stands back to await flack from every aircon merchant in Saabdom!)
