I fitted rear poly sway bar bushes on my '96 Aero (can we call it an anti-roll bar? Humour me and my British friends!) but the front bushes are late in arriving. You can see daylight through the originals but even so, I was still amazed at the difference fitting these little bushes made! Understeer is much reduced and the car turns much more sharply at speed. I almost clipped the centre of a roundabout the first time I took it at speed because I was expecting the car to run wide and was tugging it round as normal. I'm told fitting the front bushes will re-introduce understeer.
Perhaps what I'll do eventually is get the best of both worlds by fitting poly bushes to the front (retaining the standard 19mm Aero bar) and fit a larger bar at the rear with poly bushes as well. Less roll overall with less understeer.
