Dear Ari,
You appear to be the Seat Heater guru so I have a couple to further questions to those already mentioned.
How do you deal with the small rips in the heater pad fabric. I assume that it has some sort of fire resistant properties, and where I have made some small holes I have decided to cover them top and botton with the same fabric (with small pieces cut from the edges of the pad)....Do you do this or do you have another thought. And the pad (lower back) that I repaired it was necessary to peel quite a lot of it back from the foam. On the Quasi site it suggests to use "Heat Glue" which I do not have. (I also also not sure how appropriate this is as I would think that it would tend to melt when the heater is on????) So what else can you use to "glue" this unusual fabric......first to glue the small patches on and secondly the whole pad back onto the seat. Obviously the heat and flexability has to be considered and also to make sure the "glue" does not explode in flames???? What about the type of glue that you apply to both surfaces, then wait and then push pieces together???....I have some of this but it says that it is flamable??
I have come this far and I just want to finish the job off properly.
Thanks to you (or anyone else) for any advice or ideas.
