Having been one, I can safely say that body men Posted by bryan [Email] (#542) [Profile/Gallery] (more from bryan) on Sat, 18 Aug 2001 11:03:30 In Reply to: Help: body shop caused electrical problems!, Percy, Fri, 17 Aug 2001 10:25:35 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
are notorious hacks...lol...not to worry TOO much yet.
I would go around the car, make WRITTEN notes on what isn't working right (good thing you'll have the car for a few, more time to make note of what isn't working right) and provide them a checklist of problems to address.
THEN if that doesn't work, take it to the dealer or indy and have them submit a claim as Lu suggested.
BTW, how did you end up at this particular body shop? is this one you picked out, or one the other guy's insurance company recommended?
(BTW, it's illegal for an insurer to recommend or discourage use of a particular body shop, that's called steering...it still goes on, but I wouldn't take my car to one, the agents and adjusters who recommend them wouldn't take their cars there either)
