results because springs have what is called a "K" factor and Saab doesn't release this info. I am sure Abbott has just wound up something that works. For what it is worth, the springs removed from my 97 Aero rears were about 45 mm longer(free length) than the Abbotts that went in. I still had the springs from my 95 Aero and, although the same color coding, these were only about 20 mm longer than the Abbotts. The 95 had 25,000 miles and the 97 had only 1800 miles. find it hard to believe that little mileage difference caused that much spring set. good luck with you swap out. since the rears are a bear to adjust why not start with about 2 1/2 turns and see how you like it. I tried 3 1/2 turns and found it too stiff for just two persons. Rare;ly do i have anyone in back seats.
