The SRS indicator suddenly came on solid in our 94 Aero (70K), soon after an almost dead battery needed a jump start. I took it to a local shop that specializes in Swedish and German cars and has an ISAT. The results indicated a solid, non-intermittent and non-clearable "Right detonator" fault. A new passenger unit costs $1670 and is not available from SobStory, motivating me to find an alternative solution. I have the Saab service manuals and hope to find a simple ohm check that will show the detonator to be OK; could it simply be a loose connection? Any advice would be greatly appreciated before I dig in.
