that are not covered by any insurance. If the car remained under water for
a while the silt and resulting moisture will cause rust to occur down the road. Having had several cars flooded from Hurricane surges, I learned the hard way you are trying to save a terminal case by repairing it. My agent told me it is virtually impossible to clean and dry such a vehicle. In Florida the insurance companies are happy to scrap these cars if the water getsvery dep inside/around the car- no questions asked. The drive systems are always affected- bearings, transmissions, engines etc The electronics are always affected especially if the water is the least salty.
