I hadn't thought of a loose bearing, but I did get new outer CV joints about 9 months ago and perhaps one wasn't torqued well enough. I also noticed the nut looks a little beat up. The other thing I thought of was that when I got new calipers, one of them had locked up on that side. The excess heat may have fried the bearing.
