I was having a no-start problem, too. So my indy suggested that I do this: 1) crank the motor for a few moments; 2) pull the DI cassette; 3) pull a spark plug and check to see if it has moist fuel on it. If there's no fuel, he indicated, it isn't getting into the cylinder.
There may be a more accurate and/or scientific method, but this one makes sense.
