enoid are wired in paralell from the control box behind the knee shield on the left side facia, (don't know if it is above drivers leg or to the side). The solenoid will take less current to slide its armature out than the motors running to crank it locked or unlocked so look for what the voltage does going into the controll module during an operation. Then look at voltage coming out of controller same way. Ground comes out of the box to chassis in pin 3 and it is blk 1.0 sized. power comes in from fuse on rd/wh 1.5 size to a junction J35 where it changes to a blue 1.0 wire coming in on pin 4 in the controller. Central locking switch gives ground to either 5 (blue .5 size) or 6 (blue/wh .5 ) front two doors give same momentary grd to pins 1 (rd .5) and 2 yellow .5 .
Might be omhic contact restricting current flow into controller or there might be something in box which is restricting flow. i.e. cold solder joint (frosty not shiny surface, solder wick it clean and resolder). Haven't been in these controllers so don't know construction. It has to be able to rotated hot and grd to motors to achieve change of rotation direction so it may by just a couple of relays. Don't know the cost but for this convienence item they might be very proud of it. update us.
