of leaking at the tee [water droplet about to fall].
The washer fluid tank sure looks like an iceberg. I had no idea it was so big down there. It looks like there are two pumps. The front pump serves the rear hatchback window, while the rear pump which is connected to the tee serves the headlights (middle of tee) and the windshield, right?
Unfortunately, there is also a leak (but much slower and harder to pinpoint) from a crack somewhere in the tank. So the tank will have to come off. I could probably get to the nut that holds the rear rod to the chassis. But the nut that holds the front rod looks hard to get to, although I can see it. Is there a trick to getting the front rod off, or will this job have to wait until I can remove the coolant expansion tank some time in the future?
BTW, are the arms of the tee directional (i.e., interchangeable)?
