Sorry to repost this, but I’m still, still, still looking for answers. Took my 94 9KCS in for a 75K service. While in the shop I asked them to look at the AC which I didn't think was blowing cold enough air. I spent $3 on an O-ring, $24 on freon, and $150 on labor. End result the AC is no colder. The shop (SAAB dealer) stated that to make the AC colder would require replacing the dryer. At an AC repair shop that takes in SAABs, over the last two months I've replaced a line, the freon, expansion valve, adjusted the compressor clutch gap, replaced the dryer, and replaced the louver door. The blower fan was also replaced. This was done after the rubber/foam material on the old louver door broke down/deteriorated into lots of little pieces and clogged the drain, which caused the blower to drown and quit. I’m out for around $1000 total now. Driving down the road with ACC set to recirculate and 62F, the right vent air temp is 60F. Set on maximum "LO" it goes down to 56F. My cheap ford probe goes down to 38F!!! ACC diagnostic gave a 0. It almost seems as if the ACC isn't sensing the hot air temp and trying to cool it accordingly. Set on 62F it seems the blower should be going all out trying to cool things down. It doesn’t seem to be blowing hard or cold enough. I'm very frustrated and the wife it threatening against continued ownership of a car that I really like. Other than telling me I've been ripped off, does anyone have any possible technical solutions?
