I recently took my baby to have a new timing chain and balancing chains replaced. The job went well, abit overpriced though.Anyway, a short time later, the bearings start to go.So not liking the previous service,I take it to a friend who also specializes in Saab.(I would have taken it too him first, but the balancing chains sounded so horrible,It went to the dealer down the road instead)Anyway the Saab tech found the o-ring for the pick up tube (the one that lubricates the bearings and all)in another location in the engine. Its a shame that this all happened afew weeks after servicing. The car was not driven a whole lot since Saab had worked on it.I approached Saab with this and all I got was fruitless conversation.Saying that its not their fault and have avoided my phone calls from the get-go of me telling them of the situation. They wont even talk to the current mechanic working on the car!I recommend that no one goes to Saab service of Ct,regardless if this is their fault or not.Ive had a bad experience with them,unfortunately....I have also seen and heard about them conducting bad buisness with others.
