Check the sight gauge. on the output side (towards the drivers side) of the receiver(filter-dryer)(soup can size cannister with a 4 wire switch hooked into it on the small freon line)is a small "window" that lets you look into your system. IF the compressor is runing look for either a clear or a bunch of small fast mouving bubbles. If clear you have enough freon. if there is an occasional or countiuous bubble going past YOU HAVE A LEAK!!! You said you had the system refilled this spring I'm going to guess you have a leak and it reached the point the expansion valve will not work properly. Repair the leak and have the system properly serviced! You can learn to do it yourself. The tools will not be cheap but will pay for themselves if you do enough of your own repairs. 80 900T, (2)88-9kS, 82 Dodge W350, 91 GMC all paid for and all with cold air.
