2 additional questions.....where is the knock detector and what does it look like??
And where would I find the fuse for the APC soloniod (fuse box or in engine bay??)

If they forgot to re-install the knock detector- (it's not connected) the apc system will not allow boost over base boost - since they replaced the motor that seems somewhat likely as it is attached to the head.

hard to believe you need a new computer. I assume you have an apc box in the griffen (not a trionic computer) so you have a seperate box controlling boost. Make sure it's powered (fuse), check for 12V at the apc solonoid (3 hoses coming off it- top of radiator usually), make sure hoses (from apc solonoid)are connected TO the right places, wastegate actuator arm is not disconnected from the wastegate.
