Thanks for the information everyone. I am confused about the neg lead on the battery, the starter motor turns but engine does not fire. If neg lead was bad, would the starter still turn over the engine? Or is there a seperate connection for the ignition system associated with the neg. lead?
With regards to the hall sensor in distributor, is this an intermittant failure which has no predictable features?
