no hocus pocus needed, sacrificing a bucket of Popeye's extra spicy chicken will do :) just make sure to use anti-seize on the slider pins. 4 8 mm (?) socket head cap screws (Allen head) come in from the backside out that holds the steering knuckle/backing plate/rotor all sandwiched up. Pushing the CV joint out of the way will help you get on the Allen heads, juuuust can't quite get a straight shot on them. What works the best is if you have a good set of Allen wrenches and the long side has been grooved as a ball end. Retighten like you would a tire, in a star pattern.
Wheel bearings are a sealed unit and not serviceable.
What kind of pads are you using? I've had good luck with Textar brand, also have a few thousand miles on a set of Saab OE pads and they seem very good, and actually a bit cleaner than the Textar's. If you use just whatever the local auto parts store is selling, expect to have trouble with the clips (at least I have).
