I just picked up the Thule 555 fairing. Does anyone know the best placement for it? Should I have the rubber moulding on the bottom of the fairing sitting on the top of the windshield glass? Or have the moulding sit on the roof which aligns the plane of the windshield with the fairing plane. Or somewhere in between? The Thule instructions state "place as close to the windshield as possible."
Thanks very much.
