Around there parts, we don't have much use for it, I've never seen a frog on the rear window.

As for the speedo, it's quite normal for them to be about 5 mph off (as long as it reads high). In my car, using stock size tires, if the speedo indicates 66 mph, I'm only going 60 mph. Naturally the error will increase with more speed. Bit of a bummer, not sure why it's so far off, and I don't believe there's any way to calibrate it that doesn't present a greater danger of screwing something up so it doesn't work at all.

As for the voltmeter, that's odd. You're saying compared to reading directly at the battery, the EDU in dash is as much as 1V low? That seems excessive. If anything, mine reads high (or my aftermarket voltmeter is reading low - measured off an 8 gauge cable no more than 10 feet long coming off the battery). I'd say if your EDU voltmeter is low, that's ok, as long as the actual voltage never gets much above 14.5V.

As for the rear defroster, my first inclination would be to suspect either a bad ground in the circuit, or the defroster elements in the window are broken somewhere or have an intermittant connection. I'm not sure the best way to go about testing it, but the Haynes manual may have a procedure on it..
