'97 9000 CS alarm LED stays on - Help

The LED for the alarm on my '97 9000 CS stays on whether the car is running or not. It doesn't flash; it stays on continuously. The alarm system seems to arm and disarm correctly, but the light is annoying when driving at night. Anybody know how to turn it off/reset the alarm system? Do I need an ISAT to do it?
TIA
Rich P.
