Hi,
I am planning to buy a MBC for my 9K CSE 2,3LPT automatic. I think the best way to upgrade the engine is to buy a new chip and install BPC valve. This way the boost would be as big as it could. With MBC we can't set it up for max. boost, because ther is a risk, that it won't be healthy for the engine.
By the way, how does the Trionic control detonation with MBC? I think it can be controlled with ignition timing and fuel injection. Am I right? How does Trionic know that detonation takes place? There is no knocking sensor, like it used to be in APC/DI or APC systems?
On the other hand, because my car is an automatic, I don't really want to have max. boost. I think about 0,8bar - it can be safety done using MBC.
I'll inform you how the MBC works as soon as I install it.
Mariusz
