Thanks to all for the help.
I'm mainly considering an Aero over a CSE for a few reasons. First, it's an Aero that I *always* wanted. Second, I prefer the seats and the bodykit on the Aero. Not to offend CSE owners, but I think they're kinda bland. Plus, what's better than saying, "I drive an Aero, what do you drive?" :-)
I never found the 9-3 that cramped. It was not as wide as I would have liked, but I never found it to be a problem. The seats were supremely comfy, but I never found the perfect seating position. Too low and I felt "bathtub." Too high and the steering wheel rubbed my legs.
As silly as it sounds, rattles are my biggest concern. My 9-3 was terribly rattly.
A few last questions about the automatic Aeros... I'm not going to be able to find one locally to drive, so I'd like to have a really good idea what I should expect in the event that I do go test drive one. My 185hp 9-3 was too slow off the line for my tastes. Pulling away from a stoplight I almost always had to floor it to keep up with other vehicles. My 4x4 Jeep is faster from a dead stop. Once the 9-3 was up to speed, the turbocharger did its work beautifully. I "raced" an S2000 from about 25-50mph and almost won. Is the Aero like this? How bad is turbo lag with the auto? BTW, do they take premium fuel? My 9-3 was supposed to take 87, but it knocked so I used 89 most of the time.
