It might be your cassette although that is a bit unusual for a car with so few miles. The DI cassete WILL go out on you. It is just a matter of time. I was lucky and started getting your symtoms for about 20,000 miles until it failed at 124,000 miles. It sputtered when trying to pass in top gear and after a cold start intially.
I tried the fuel injector cleaner. I tried new plugs. Still the same. After the car left me stranded in my apartment complex, I had it replaced.
When I drove my car off from the mechanic, there was a huge difference in acceleration. It was a very strong boosting in the red early on in the rpm's. I think this is how SAAB originally intended. The difference with the new cassette was awesome. Sadly, the rush seemed to diminish after a short while, but I still get the early turbo boost which aids in some BMW slaughter... hee hee hee .....good luck.
