Hey all,

This is my first post, but glad to find this board. My single-CD factory in-dash player quit working. This started last winter when it wouldn't work until after about 10-15 mins., then it would just kick in. Gradually, this time to "kick in" has gotten longer and now I think it may not work at all.

My current repair shop told me that it was a temperature sensor and it was designed that way because it was too cold (but I know now this isn't my problem because it persisted in warm weather). I called my old repair shop in Colorado, and was told that it just needed to be cleaned, but can't find anyone around here who would agree to clean it.

Any opinions on whether I could get it cleaned, fixed, or do I just need to have it replaced?
