The proper dosage for a 2.3L engine is one 5.5 oz. silver bottle. If you bought the 10 oz. bottle, shake vigorously and add half to your coolant reservoir. Either way, drive for about 20 minutes after that. If there are still remnants of the additive in the reservoir after that, don't worry about it, as it'll mix in time.
Any, yes, it'll likely fix your leak very effectively, but it'll depend on how large it is. If it's a leaky T'stat gasket, it'd be best to simply fix it first.
