I have to agree with Street. When one is concerned about saving
costs, then having an instrument can tell you, immediately,
whether or not you're operating at usual gauge readings and would
prevent small problems from being exacerbated by not being detected sooner. If you really want the factory 'look' and are trying to keep costs down, then just take the manometer out of a known working unit. I've done it myself. Just be real careful pulling the needle-pointer off its' axis. It's rather delicate and takes a good deal of effort! The important thing, I think, you need to consider is your temperature gauge. They were not all designed the same on the 9000. And, if yours is a '95 or newer, I think, then it's also interelated with the 2-speed cooling fan on your radiator.
