I understand from the archives that the ball joint is held in place by three bolts below (to the control arm) and is pressed into the steering knuckle above. The control arm nuts/bolts are not a problem. The steering knuckle may be. Is it best to use a splitter or will a REALLY BIG HAMMER do it? How does the new ball joint get pressed back into the knuckle?
