I did change the BPC solenoid with one off a parts car. It deffinately clicks when I turn the ignition on and off. However is it possible that it stops working after a set period of time and then starts after it cools off? It seems like a have a 5 minute window where everything works great then boost is limited to base boost after 4500 rpms? Strange thing is since I had 2 APC boxes I adjusted one to give me higher boost. I placed it in the car and it didn't make any difference after the 5 min period - max boost stayed just shy of the red and came at 4500 rps. However you could tell a noticable difference before the car had been running 5 minutes. I am just wondering if there is some default somewhere? Is there someway to check the apc valve other then the obvious clicking when the car is turned on and off?
