I have owned my 1994 9000 Aero for 3 years now, bought it with only 42,000 miles on and and now have 66,000 miles. What has gone wrong since I've owned it:
1. Stitching on drivers side seat gave way - fairly easy repair after
you remover the seat cover.
2. Exhaust system flex pipe and the intermediate pipe (with the resonator
attached) required replacement.
3. Clutch, slave cylinder and master cylinder were replaced (according to
my indie the clutch plate was pretty well worn re the previous owner
using it aggressively).
4. Cruise control unit required replacement.
5. Windshield washer "T" adjacent to washer fluid bottle, and both anti-
drainback valves by the washer jets were replaced.
6. Metal clip attaching control rod to the wastegate fell
off/disappeared/disintegrated - well, it was just gone one day (and so
was the turbo's boost). Easy 10 minute fix one you diagnosed the
problem.
Despite the above repairs, I really love this car - seats, handling, power, cargo capacity, fuel efficiency and build quality are all absolutely top notch.
