I drove my wife's 900S this week while she drove my 9000 CSE. The tail lights indicator on the pictogram was on all week and she thought it was indicating that the lights were on.
I checked the tail lights and they were OK and then got her to check the brake lights. She couldn't see anything wrong. I got her to operate the brake pedal and I had a look. It took me a while to realise that like the 900 there is a pair of tail lights each side, one which also acts as a brake light (and I know that because we have had SAABs for the last 6 years!Doh!). One of the tailight only lights was out. It was easy to miss. Check the simple things first you might be pleasantly surprised.
