when i run the AC/Heat with lights, stereo, cd player on, it causes a "short" where the lights flicker dim, the stereo goes off (for a second), etc. when i turn the AC/Heat off, the problem stops. it's like an electrical "hiccup". often, it causes my stereo to have to reset (enter the code) when i restart the car, and effects the alarm system.
i have taken to one saab service in chicago and they said they noticed nothing. i took to a non saab repair service over last winter, messed around with fuses, but could not find a real problem. it solved the problem only temporarily.
i'm thinking of taking the car to another Saab repair service in chicago. anyone experience something similar? anyone recommend a Chicago service in particular. i've been to 2 but looking for real recommendations.
this problem started after i had timing chain replaced. and i have since had a major 90K tune up...
