My '92 9000 came new with the Michelin's, and at the time, I thought they were fine. After that I mounted some sort of unremarkable Bridgestone's, then the next set was Goodyear Eagle Aquatred's that were good in the rain, but had a very hard ride. Then I went to the Bridgestone Turenza Revo's. I find them to be quiet, give a great ride, are good in the rain, and reasonable in the snow for an all season tire. It's been a while since I had the Michelin's but I think I prefer the Bridgestones. For my next tire, I think I'll go with the Nokian NRW, which is probably a bit louder than the Bridgestone's, but should outperform them in the rain and snow.

Was just at Gibson Motor Company (Saab dealer in Perrysville IN) today and noticed that the owner's son had the Nokian NRW mounted on his Aero. He said they are great in the rain and snow, are not really loud, and give a good ride.

I get good tire life by rotating my tires every 5,000 miles. I use that interval because it's easy to remember when it's due, ie. 25,000, 30,000...
