Have you had an interuption in the power such as a dead battery lately? If so, you may need to recalibrate the ACC. I recently replaced the heater core in my car and had the same symptoms, but recalibration did the trick. Your manual gives instructions for this. If you don't have a manual, here is what it says:
"To recalibrate the system, press AUTO + [the panel button on the bottom right (left arrow-square-right arrow)] whereupon the indicator light at the side of [the panel button] will come on, indicating that calibration and self-testing are in progress. The right-hand array of indicator lights will then also come on, starting at the bottom and working upwards. During calibration, a '0' will appear on the display or, alternatively, a figure (1-5) indicating the number of faults detected. When calibration is complete, the ACC will revert to displaying the selected temperature. The calibration operation takes about 30 seconds."
