Last week my mom took her '90 9000t into the shop and they told her it needed two new front tires. They also said the tires on the car were all the "wrong" size for the car. Their solution... two new front tires of the correct size! They said the sizes were "close enough" and shouldn't make a difference.
I've always been under the impression that you should always have the same sized tires on all four wheels. Even if the old tires were the "wrong" size (I think they are 195/65's, which is what I have, and fine for the car, esp. if you want a good ride), isn't it worse to have two different sizes???
Please tell me I'm wrong, the shop she goes to is a reputable Saab shop and has been very good other than this.
