Well Sully, I just found out the hard way how to fix the fogging problem. This is assuming you don't smell antifreeze in the car. My 1996 was doing the same thing on mornings when it was in the 30's. Did some checking on the recirculation function and decided the recirculating flap motor was not working. Well, after spending an hour getting the motor out (one screw is hidden behind the motor) the motor seemed to work OK. Placing a screwdriver in the flap and twisting found the flap stuck in the recirculation position. Apparently just sticking to the seal. To free the flap the easy way turn the key on and make sure the LED by the recurculation button is not illuminated then press on the flap, it's visible right in front of the motor in the aquarium, right side. Let us know it that works.
