There is no replacement interval on the timing chain - you replace it only if it needs it. Yes, there were some issues with the balance shaft sprockets, but I believe that was fixed well before your car was built.
You're doing everything right. Change the oil frequently, and keep the oil level up. A hair over the MAX line won't hurt. Don't run the oil level down to MIN between oil changes. Not that running down there will kill the timing chain - it's just that some experience has shown higher oil level results in better lubrication.
The timing chain should last the life of the car - well over 200K. They usually let you know with noise first, noise that you don't need a stethescope to hear.
If you're really feeling concerned about it, pull the valve cover. Maybe not now, and maybe not for a little while, but at some point your valve cover gasket is going to start weeping oil down onto the exhaust manifold. You won't see great gouts of smoke, just a brief burning oil smell if the car has been sitting a few days. There will be a thin coating of oil on the lower left edge of the block. Replacing a valve cover gasket is about $25 for parts and takes me about an hour or less.
While the valve cover is off, you can visually inspect the chain. You can also turn the engine to TDC for cylinder #1, and compare the alignment marks on the cams against those on the head. If they line up, the chain hasn't 'stretched' Chains don't actually stretch - they do get longer due to wear. If it looks good, then you're fine. If it doesn't, then you know what to do.
I've pulled the valve covers off a few of my Saabs with milage north of 140K, and they've all had good looking chains. And some of them are noisy. So if yours is quiet, I wouldn't worry.
Good luck!
