My 97 CS has a typical phone connector peeking out of the bottom of the center console on the carpet on the passenger side. Perhaps it is inside the console until the installation is performed, then it gets pulled out into view. Plug looks just like a household four pin phone connector, then a wire runs over to another connector at the base of a stalk screwed into the floor that holds a hardwired Motorola phone. I have seen another 97 done the exact same way, so the factory wiring being available makes sense, I wondered why it was so sano.
What I want to know is can this Motorola phone be programmed with the same number as my StarTac dual mode cell phone so I only need one number?
Good luck
