There are three bulbs, so if one particular part of the display doesn't work its probably because that light has burned out. All three are the same. As I said in the my last post I have seen intermittent failure problems with dash lights. This may be a function of the low voltage because I have never experienced this problem with 120 VAC house lights. The only way to be sure the bulb is the problem is to replace it. Checking the continuity will not always reveal a failing bulb.
