My headliner is fine, in great shape actually. The sunroof part of it is totally off, hanging there limply. I tore the two back quarter pieces putting a piece of fence in my back hatch.
A sample to Ray T, PO Box 279, Croton Falls, NY 10519 would be appreciated. I'll send cash back to the return address for 1st Class Postage. I went to JoAnn Fabrics in Mahopac last night but they didn't have a match for my headliner color. I may have to go back at get them to order it after getting a quote for $40.00 for two yards today.
Where can I find Hancock Fabrics?
Once I get my hands on the fabric, I'll post the results of my efforts here. Getting the quarter pieces out was easy. Had to remove the mounting bolt for the rear seatbelt. Getting the sunroof out looks to be more of an adventure but certainly do-able.
I stopped by Federal Seats and Tops in Brookfield, CT today. The guy wanted $40.00 for two yards of material and $125.00 to apply it on my two quarter pieces and the sunroof shade. That labor charge was based on me delivering the three pieces, not their removal, so the hardest part of the whole deal, yanking the sunroof, would still be my problem. I'll be doing the cutting and gluing myself once I get the material.
