The motor is needed for the ACC to work properly. If not functional, may take out the electronics of the ACC. Big $$/LL! My indy put in used motors which lasted the 3 yrs more that I had the car, and only cost ~ $50 each. Be forewarned, the problem may be in the ACC controler rather than the motor. Or both, as in my case. Cost for two motors, ACC, and labor was around $700 as I recall. Makes one appreciate the old hand controls!
