Just got done replacing all the lights in the instrument panel. Basically, everything went fine until It came time to do the EDU lamps. They are soldered in, so basically I had to break the bulbs and pry out the remains. TIP #1 - autozone carries the little replacement bulbs you need for this - just twist the wires so they contact the sides of the plastic holders and you're fine.
Next problem, alarm LED broke. Anybody know what to replace it with? (what voltage does it take?)
Got everything back together again, but car wouldn't crank - batteries dead from the interior lights being on for so long. Have been meaning to get new one, so back to the store I go.
Finally everything is back up, but now my SRS light is staying on, and the right turn indicator is also always on if my driving lights are on. All turn lights seem to be working. Any ideas about this? Could the loss of battery voltage had somethign to do with it? I assume I'll have to have the dealer reset the SRS light?
As always, thanks in advance - this board is reason enough to buy a Saab!
