Sounds like a good deal. I agree with previous posts that some of the repairs are not too critical. I've repaired several '88-'89 9k's with similar problems.
1) They're right about the CV joint boots - they must not be torn. If they are not damaged, you can drive for years with the modest clicking on turns (we have). In our area, Murrays auto parts store sells remanuf. axles for about $70-$80. I've also heard that swapping left and right joints improves the clicking (probably different wear patterns, but I've not done this).
2) I had the same door window problem, easily fixed with junkyard window regulator/motor assembly. It's a rather intricate system, but very easy to replace. There are a few tricks to getting the drivers door panel off, especially the rear view mirror switch. Email me at devans753@home.com if you're interested.
3) Make sure that you know which oil is leaking. It could be trans fluid. There are several places on the auto trans that can leak, but again fairly simple to fix (and good documentation on the web at the Townsend site - SaabNet sponsor). Frequent engine oil leaks from cam cover and also behind crankshaft pulley - both very easy to fix.
4) Interior fogging is more involved. If it is smeary and hard to clean off the windshield, and smells slightly sweet, you've most likely got the common heater core leak. I've done it twice. The quasimotor site (check SaabNet links) has a nice write-up on doing this. It is a full day's job to replace the heater core, and while you're in there, I'd very strongly suggest replacing the heater blower motor - they don't get quieter. Both parts, and many more OEM parts, can be had a rock-bottom prices at Import Parts Specialists in Idaho (importpartsspec.com), also eEuroparts.com.
5) Headliners are almost all coming down, so don't feel bad. I've done one, and got another to do. (Maybe I'll document with digital pics.) If it's a hatchback, the headliner comes out fairly simply. Good instructions are also at Quasi's site, I believe. I bought my foam-backed headliner material from an auto upholstery shop for less than $25, 3M spray adhesive for about $35. Of course, a short term repair can be as simple as pushing small auto trim "christmas tree" fasteners up into the headliner board.

If you like premium quality cars, you'll appreciate the Saab.
