nt moore, Yes you can take it off the engine. It's a pain though, and you can remove the bushing from the mount while it's in the car. There is a specific tool available (search the sponsors of this site) costs about $75, maybe you could share the cost with friends, or sell it when you are done. Many indie shops have this tool, perhaps you could borrow one with a deposit. Call TW at <thesaabsite.com> for advice. You can also saw the bushing out with a "Saws-all" or a hacksaw. There is an excellent "how-to" article in Volume 21 of Jack Ashcraft's SAAB Journal with pictures. Although he is concentrating on older SAABs now he might send you a zerox copy of the issue for a reasonable fee. Good luck.
