Misting Up Aero- fixed at last!

I posted some weeks ago concerning misting up problems I was having with my Aero and received a lot of helpful advice - many thanks.
The problem turned out to be the servo motor which operates the fresh/recirc air flap being stuck on re-circ. My dealer wanted £300 to replace it so I spent a chilly boxing day taking out the old one to see if it could be repaired. As usual with SAAB nothing was easy! Those of us with steering wheels on the "right" side have to contend with a wiper linkage which does a pretty good job of preventing the motor from sliding out as promised in the manual. I finally had to cut off a small plastic lug on the evaporator casing to allow the mounting plate to come free.
Dismantling the motor and gear box was easy and a quick clean of the armature/brushes saw it restored to working condition.
I was so chuffed at fixing the little bugger for free, I treated myself to a new cabin filter so now I can have fresh clean air.
Anyone else suffering the dreaded misting up and has fixed the usual culprit (heater matrix) I would strongly suggest they check this flap out.
