arrghhhh!!! (top motor mount frustration)

I've finished with all of the motor mounts save one. The new top front motor mount currently sits half in and half out of the mounting bracket. My first thought, to freezing the mount and heating the bracket with a blow torch several days ago was unsccessful - I didn't get the bracket hot enough I guess - I didn't want to damage the engine though. (freezing the bushing was easy though, all I had to do was let the new bushing sit outside - MN temps have been hovering aroun 10F lately)
Today I set up a threaded shaft with nuts and big washers on either end and was able to drive the bushing in half way by torquing the nuts - unfortunatly the biggest washers I could find were still smaller that the metal cuff on the bushing so I had to put a wood block in between the bushing and washers - this of course cracked at about the halfway point. I'm now stuck, I don't know how to get that bushing in the last inch.
The easiest way to do this by far would be to unbolt the mounting bracket from the engine block - this has seemed impossible thus far though - has anyone been able to get that mounting bracket off? IU can't tell if I'll need to remove 2 bolts or 3.
On a positive note the rest of the mounts are in successfully.
